Hosted by influencer and activist Selema Masakela each episode stars with an artifact from the AMAAHC archives and tells the story of how black musicians have impacted global culture through conversations with esteemed Smithsonian Curator Dr Dwandalyn Reece, an array of accomplished authors, educators, and journalists as well as an eclectic mix of some of the biggest names in popular music.
