By far the most exciting and successful project I’ve touched in my career was the All Music Is Black Music podcast. A collaboration between SiriusXM and the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture this series tells the story of how African Americans have influenced global music culture. The concept was brought to me and I was asked how to bring it to life. I played an integral role in developing the run of show, casting our host, scripting copy, curating guests, musical direction, and even guiding the visual creative. For each episode I handled post production audio editing, mixing and sound design. I’m proud to say this project won two Webby Awards and one Anthem Award.
